BACCHANALIAA theatrical celebration inspired by the stories and rituals surrounding Bacchus, god of wine, fertility, and ecstasy. The Cyclops, Minotaur, Medusa, Thespis, Plato, Nietzsche: This festival in three acts (paired with a sumptuous three course meal) mixes classical mythology with modern philosophy in a tantalizing cornucopia of dance, music, and drama.

"This is the sort of thing one could expect to see in London, or Barcelona, but not Milwaukee...a complex, thoughtful, funny, sensitive, and beautiful show."
Jeff Grygny, MILWAUKEE THEATER EXAMINER "Bacchanalia" is exploring archetypal questions of the sort that too much situational theater ignores: Why do we vigilantly monitor our primal urges? Why do men fear women? Do we need organized religion? And since we're all going to die, why are we so afraid to live? Or as Bacchus might say, why not eat, drink, and be prodigiously merry while we still can?"
